Aishwarya College is proud to be the only college in Jodhpur selected by IIT Delhi to participate in the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), a flagship program of the Ministry of Education (MoE). Inspired by the vision of sustainable rural development, UBA aims to connect higher education institutions with villages to address their development challenges through innovative and scalable solutions.

Under this initiative, the college has adopted five villages in the Jodhpur district:

  • Basni
  • Tanawda
  • Bhakarasni
  • Salawas
  • Banar

Activities and Achievements under UBA

  • Conducted comprehensive village surveys to analyze the status of basic infrastructure and services. Reports have been successfully uploaded on the national portal.
  • Organized the Solar Ambassador Workshop on 2nd October 2019 in collaboration with IIT Bombay, where students learned how to create solar lamps, promoting green energy and self-reliance.
  • The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. O.P.N. Calla, Renowned Scientist and Director of the International Centre for Radio Science.
  • Through UBA, Aishwarya College contributes meaningfully to rural transformation and instills in students a sense of social responsibility and community engagement.
